UBIS, workers on strike against outsourcing
The new Unicredit management has announced the outsourcing and selling of important parts of UBIS, the UC technological Business Unit

UBIS workers in Italy perfomed a sit-in at the UniCredit headquarters in Milan in support of the strike, in order to protest against the company’s long term outsourcing projects.

The september 9th strike itì's against the decision  to outsource credit card operations which was taken by the Board of Directors on August 3rd this year. On the same day, UBIS workers across Europe have organised flash mobs to take place in Germany, Romania and Austria. UNI Finance supports the UniCredit trade union alliance in its activities and sends its solidarity to the workers on strike.

UBIS (UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions) is the Group’s company that provides services including those in ICT, Back office, Real Estate and Procurement. It employs nearly 11,000 workers globally, of which 4,200 in Italy. Activities are located worldwide; and in Europe its presence is established in Italy, Austria, Germany, Romania amongst others.
